Explore upcoming events in Montreal As April begins, we hope the sun shines and warms the mercury. With good weather around the corner, check out our winter-spring 2023 cultural program to discover all the activities in your borough. Please note that the Mordecai-Richler and Plateau-Mont-Royal libraries and the Plateau-Mont-Royal cultural center will be closed from Friday 7 to Monday, April 10 due to the Easter holiday.
The Clair de femme show by Flavie Dufour is a tribute to well-being and relationships. This hybrid tale integrates the audience into an experience of stripping. Feedback is a traditional flamenco show that immerses the audience in a frenzied atmosphere of dresses, palmas, and castanets. The Secret Words is a playful journey into the poetic universe of Louise Dupré.
As part of Earth Day, participate in a creative workshop about the theme of nature, which has inspired Chinese artists and poets from ancient China and the contemporary West. The AEPP Animation will provide a fun and collaborative workshop to discover the systemic aspect of the erosion of biodiversity.
Toddlers can enjoy storytime with Edith Grosse, who tells stories, sings nursery rhymes, and encourages the relationship between book and baby. Youth activities at the libraries include cine matinee, video game afternoons, and Easter-themed crafts.
Please register in advance for all activities, and note that some events have limited places available. Don't hesitate to register for other activities for adults and youth at the Mordecai-Richler and Plateau-Mont-Royal libraries.

Event: The secret words Date: Sunday, April 30 Time: 2 p.m. Venue: Maison de la culture Description: A theatrical performance by Théâtre Vital for ages 7 to 12 that takes the audience on a playful journey into the poetic universe of Louise Dupré. The show features songs, games, and dances that interpret the words whispered in our bedrooms when no one can hear us. The performance is staged by André Perrier and features Simon Fournier and Marilyn Perreault. Free admission, but reservations are required starting from Sunday, April 16.

Event: Talk about the exhibition A century of social action - Marie Gérin-Lajoie and the Bon-Conseil sisters Date: Sunday, April 16 Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Venue: Mordecai-Richler Library Description: A discussion about the exhibition that focuses on the social action of Marie Gérin-Lajoie and the Bon-Conseil sisters. Registration is suggested.
Activity: Zero waste: Initiation workshops Dates: Wednesday, April 12 and May 17 Time: 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Venue: Plateau Library Description: A workshop for adults that provides an introduction to zero waste. Registration is required for both workshops.
Activity: Biodiversity fresco Date: Thursday, April 20 Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Venue: Plateau Library Description: A workshop for adults that explores the systemic aspect of the erosion of biodiversity.
