Benalmadena is a resort that often surprises its visitors, offering a diverse array of sights and attractions. This hop on-hop off tour allows you to explore the heart of the town and discover some of the hidden corners that make it such as fascinating destination. Beyond the natural beauty of La Paloma Park and the opulence of the marina, you will hear the call of the wild at Selwo Marina adventure park and Sealife.

Then there’s Tivoli World, an amusement park without equal. This open-top bus tour is a great way to get around this hilly, spread-out resort, making it easy to get to popular attractions such as the Cable Car and Arroyo market. Other sights and attractions include Bil-Bil Castle, a picture-postcard Arabesque cultural centre, Colomares Castle, an intricate monument commemorating Cristopher Columbus, a butterfly park and the 33 metre-tall Enlightenment Stupa, the largest such Buddhist mound in Europe. Praying while walking around it in a clockwise direction is said by believers to make your wishes come true. Unusually, the stupa has an inner meditation hall.

This hop on-hop off tour has an on-board time of about 90 minutes, and our ticket is valid for 48 hours from the time they client first board the bus, they can go round as many times as they want! Buses are fully accessible to wheelchairs and have audio guides with explanations of what you see en-route. There is a bus every 45 minutes in summer and every hour in winter.

• Departure from Puerto Marina at 10 am, 10:30am, 11:15am, 11:45am,12:30pm*, 1pm, 2pm, 3pm, 4.15pm and 5.30pm*
*These departures will go to the Butterfly Park.
