From your hotel, you are taken to Concordia, a 25-minute drive from Mazatlan. This entire town is dedicated to the manufacture of handmade furniture, pottery and bricks. Then the tour continues on to Copala, a 400-year-old village in the folds of the Sierra Madre mountains.
Here a walking tour through the narrow cobbled streets allows you to admire the colonial-style architecture, the old prison and the recently restored San Jose Church. Then you can take a rest as you have lunch at a famous local restaurant.
