This is the best program for kids as it is the ideal activity introducing them to nature and respecting marine animals. Within this program, you will receive a kiss, a handshake and you will be enjoying games with dolphins with your family, and they will also teach you how they sing and dance. Everyone will learn about their diet, interesting facts, and dolphin behavior. The Dolphin Encounter program provides the best chance to learn about dolphins and interact with them. Let your kids enter the dolphins’ fascinating world and live the experience of a lifetime.

The habitat is located just 20 minutes' driving from Tulum which is considered one of the top ten archaeological sites in the world. Dolphin Akumal is the newest dolphin habitat in the Mayan Riviera and the perfect spot so you can enjoy your vacation and this incredible experience.

Important Info: 
We recommend bringing a swimsuit, biodegradable sun cream, sandals, a hat, a towel, a change of clothes and sunglasses. ;Remember to bring the voucher and valid photo ID with you
For security reasons, the use cameras in the water is not allowed, professional photos will be available for sale.
For safety reasons pregnant women (5 months and up) can't participate in any of our aquatic programs. 
Women less than 5 months into their pregnancy can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form.  If you have any health or physical problem please contact our call center before you make your reservation so we can provide you full information about our services.

    Cancellation of Reservation:

    • If an event is no longer available for booking or if unforeseen circumstances arise, we reserve the right to cancel your reservation. In such cases, you will be notified promptly, and any payments made will be fully refunded.

    • Full refund is available up until 48hrs prior to the event. 

    • We recommend reviewing your reservation details prior to your event date to ensure the event is still available.
