Visit one of the most important Marian shrines in the world at the Sanctuary of Fatima.
Unlike all other shrines which were started in the Middle Aged, this one is from the early 20th Century due to various apparitions seen by three young children in the years 1916 and 1917. Learn all about the fascinating apparitions of this extremely holy and peaceful location. Listen as the guide explains all the phenomenon’s which took happened in this exact place and get a real feel for the history and culture behind it. We’ll visit the sanctuary itself, followed by the Basilica and the Apparitions Chapel. These set of buildings are visited by religious followers from all over the world. Admire the beautiful architecture and wonderful monuments which surround it. Personal belief does not play a part on this tour, as anybody will be able to appreciate the preciousness and serenity of this location.
Next, we’ll make our way to historical and lively city of Coimbra, bursting full with knowledge and culture. Here we’ll visit the ever so famous University, loved by students and tourists alike due to its splendor and characteristic buildings. We’ll also stop by the Romanesque cathedral and the quaint historic center, perfect for exploration.
