Escape the hustle and bustle of the resort and embark on an incredible and unforgettable day exploring some of Tenerife's hidden gems.
After being picked up at the hotel, head towards the charming fishing village of Garachico, where you will have free time to visit the Castillo de San Miguel, the Church of Santa Ana or the Ex-Convent of San Francisco to name a few. Next, travel to Los Silos and Buenavista del Norte, where we will take the Palmar road to the picturesque village of Masca. Tucked away amidst lush mountain slopes, 700 metres above sea level, this fairytale village consists of a scattering of higgledy-piggledy houses perched on a series of volcanic ridges overlooking the wild Atlantic Ocean far below. Here enjoy free time to explore the area at your own leisure.
Santiago del Teide is next on the itinerary, where there will be a stop at Cherfe, a magnificent viewpoint that boasts views of the Santiago Valley. Enjoy some free time to explore the area, grab yourself a souvenir or even visit one of the local restaurants for lunch (not included).
Continue the journey with a climb up the Erjos circular path, more than 1,100 meters high. Crossing El Tanque, in the north of the island you will make your way to the Garachico viewpoint, at a vertiginous 400 meters high. Take advantage of this unforgettable stop and fall in love with the panoramic views over Garachico.
Finally, visit the small town of Icod de los Vinos. This settlement is famous for its thousand-year-old Dragon tree, with blood-red sap and magical healing properties, and the church of San Marcos (not included). Bring the tour to an end as you make the way back to Puerto de la Cruz travelling through San Juan de la Rambla and Los Realejos.
