You will see evidence of one of the first inhabitants of Malaga, in the Roman Theater (Teatro Romano) of the 1st century AD. Stones of the roman ruin were used by the Moors to build the 11th century Alcazaba Fortress, which can be seen behind, one of the best preserved Alcazabas (citadel) in Spain.
