With famous names like Pablo Picasso and Antonio Banderas under its belt, beautiful seaside Malaga has a myriad of wonderful landmarks to offer. Let us make you fall in love with its rich history, architecture and incredible views. See the beautiful mix of renaissance and baroque of the one-towered Cathedral of Malaga, built between the 16th and 18th century.

At the Plaza y Acera de la Marina, you will learn the story of the Cenachero, the symbol of Malaga, depicted here in a statue. If there is a political stage in Malaga, it is the Plaza de la Constitución, or the Square of the Constitution, the heart of the historical center. Spot the renaissance Genovese fountain Fuente de Genova in one end, and in the other you’ll find five plaques that celebrate the day when the Democratic Constitution of Spain came into effect.

The most illustrious son of Malaga is without a doubt Pablo Picasso, so you will be presented with a view of the Museo Picasso Málaga, only 200 meter away from his birthplace, and part in the 16th century Buenavista Palace. You will see evidence of one of the first inhabitants of Malaga, in the Roman Theater (Teatro Romano) of the 1st century AD. Stones of the roman ruin were used by the Moors to build the 11th century Alcazaba Fortress, which can be seen behind, one of the best preserved Alcazabas (citadel) in Spain.

Not to forget as well is the Ayuntamiento de Málaga, the neo-baroque Town Hall that is considered one of the most beautiful government buildings in the country. Walk along the streets of this sunny city, coming across many different stories. Let the adventure begin!
