Located at the FedEx Forum, the museum offers a comprehensive Memphis music experience from the rural field hollers and sharecroppers of the 1930s, through the explosion of Sun, Stax and Hi Records and Memphis’ musical heyday in the 70s, to its global musical influence. The museum’s digital audio tour guide is packed with over 300 minutes of information, including over 100 songs, and takes visitors through seven galleries featuring 3 audio visual programs, more than 30 instruments, 40 costumes and other musical treasures.

Duration: approximately 2 hours.
Start/opening time: at 9am.
End/closing time: at 6pm. Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas day.
Languages: Audio guides are available in English only and written translations in French, German, Dutch, Spanish and Japanese.
Others: There is a free shuttle that stops at the museum and goes to Graceland, Sun Studio and back to Rock n Soul. The shuttle runs daily from 10:00am to 6:00pm. The first stop at Rock n Soul is at 10:30am and stops every hour on the half hour until 5:30pm.
