Go wild at the world-famous San Diego Zoo. More than 3,700 animals live in the vast park in San Diego’s leafy Balboa Park. Dive into the Northern Frontier, a spectacular habitat for Arctic animals including polar bears, reindeer, a variety of birds and Arctic foxes. Wander along Lost Forest, which leads to a tiger’s lair and other surprises while Gorilla Tropics recreates an African rainforest. Winged creatures abound in the Owens Rain Forest Aviary with more than 200 birds living in this replica of a southeast Asian jungle. If you are inspired to take flight, hop aboard the Skyfari aerial tram. You will get a bird’s eye view of the World Famous San Diego Zoo.
